Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival, the hotel seemed dirty and unsafe, with a police presence adding to the feeling of unease. The room had necessary amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, and safe, but the constant noise from people coming and going all night made sleeping impossible. The overall experience was discounted and left much to be desired.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The room looked like it still needed some work, appeared dirty, and had a bad smell. However, it was spacious although quite dark, with old-fashioned decor and slightly stained curtains. The service was excellent, especially in one of the remodeled rooms with a great location and many restaurant choices nearby. However, there was an incident indicating a security lapse. The location was average due to being in a run-down part of downtown San Jose, with limited food options but a convenient distance to the airport. The dining experience was basic, lacking a proper breakfast spread at the same price level. The facilities could use some improvement to match expectations.
The hotel is located in a relatively rundown part of downtown San Jose with mainly used car dealers and Mexican bars and clubs nearby. The rooms are gigantic, making it very loud and difficult to sleep at times, although they were fairly clean with good light. The service was a mix of informative and friendly interactions, with occasional lapses in attention to detail. The location is convenient for downtown activities but not ideal for families. Dining options were limited, requiring guests to go elsewhere for a decent meal. Overall, it offers a mixed experience depending on individual preferences and priorities.
